Andrew Biraj is a globally acclaimed Visuals Editor and award-winning photojournalist with over 20 years of experience capturing the pulse of humanity. Based in Washington, D.C., Andrew has worked with top-tier agencies like Reuters, Sipa Press, and Getty Images. His striking work has graced the pages of National Geographic, TIME, The New York Times, and many more.
Biraj’s talent has earned him a treasure trove of accolades, including the prestigious World Press Photo Award and multiple honors from National Geographic and POYi. A graduate of Pathshala and The University of Bolton, his projects, such as Bonded Stitches & Struggle, have been showcased globally, from Venice to Perpignan.
As a mentor, juror, and co-founder of Counter Foto, Andrew inspires a new generation of visual artists. His storytelling bridges cultures, creating a lasting impact worldwide.
